Major Operations Completed
All classes for grades 6-12 are now under one roof at Athens Jr./Sr. High School. We have only punchlist work to be completed, as of January 9, 2012, and are tying up loose ends on on bonded improvements. As listed below, we have two, new sixth grade classrooms; a new band room; major heating and mechanical upgrades; new classroom technology (document cameras and mounted projectors) in all classrooms, and two new buses. Contingency funds are yet to be determined, in considering any additional work that may be possible. Thank you, again, to our voters and taxpayers for your investment in the future of Athens Area Schools.
