Community and Board Launch Five-Year Strategic Planning Process
The Board of Education recently partnered with a diverse group of community members to begin an important journey: the development of a comprehensive five-year strategic plan for the district.
This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to transparency, open communication, fiscal responsibility, and the continuous improvement of instruction for all students. By bringing multiple perspectives to the table early in the process, the district is working to ensure that future decisions are thoughtful, inclusive, and aligned with both educational best practices and community values.
Participants in the initial strategic planning forum included elementary staff, parents, students, and community stakeholders. Together, they engaged in meaningful dialogue about the district’s strengths, challenges, and priorities, helping to shape a long-term vision that is both ambitious and grounded in practical planning.
This process marks an important step forward for the district. Through ongoing collaboration and clear communication, the strategic plan will serve as a roadmap to guide decision-making, responsibly manage resources, and strengthen instructional practices in ways that best support student success.
The Board of Education extends its appreciation to all who participated and looks forward to continued community engagement as the five-year strategic plan takes shape.
