I am reaching out to the Athens community to address several questions and concerns that have recently been brought to my attention. It appears that some misinformation is circulating, and I would like to take this opportunity to clarify the facts.
The DEAEF Youth Fishing Program includes introduction to casting, drug prevention, exploring the outdoors and learning about the environment. Wear comfortable clothing, sunglasses/hat, and closed toed shoes. Fishing equipment and dinner will be provided, please advise of any allergies.
